The food was very good. The prices were very reasonable. Our waitress was great. The only reason they got 4 stars instead of 5 is because they were sold out of my first two desert choices. So I had to settle for number 3. Atmosphere inside was fine, but neighborhood leaves a bit to be desired. Maybe it was just my timing.
The food was excellent! We had the honey mustard wings, they were sticky and yet crispy. The red beans and rice is flavorful like it has been stewing all day. The fried shrimp were huge and juicy and well seasoned with a crunchy cornmeal coating. The yams were seasoned to perfection. The mac and cheese makes you close your eyes and let out a deep sigh of sweet joy. The fish was crispy and flavorful and fresh tasting. The serving size was huge.
We also had a pineapple Ciroc cosmopolitan and a Bush Rod with whiskey instead of Hennessy. Both drinks were Spirit forward and not too sweet.
We were able to watch the NCAA women’s final four game and Lakers game at the same time.
The servers were kind and our food didn’t take long to come out at all.
We are definitely going to make this our new go to spot.
Dined at Rob Ben's on a Sunday afternoon. Loved everything ordered from the perfectly fried chicken wings, collards, greens, red beans, and rice. The yams were just the right sweetness, and the Mac n' cheese is very good
The service was great, and the prices were very reasonable. I always rate restaurant restrooms, and Rob Ben gets 5⭐️ It was spotless with a fresh scent.
It's so dark i can never tell if/ when they are open. Ordered smothered pork chops. They were good. The biscuits deligh. I wanna try other menu items. They no longer accept cash so... be prepared
I came in with a group of about 12 after Church, I was skeptical at first, but I tell you, the food was excellent! I had the turkey wings, friends had the humongous fried seafood plates and smothered porkchops, I sampled all and everything was so good! Our waitress was wonderful so I didn't mind tipping her extra, and the cook came out to introduce herself and she was so gracious, do yourself a favor and check them out, you won't be disappointed. Take it from a Churchgirl🤩
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND DELISH!!! Garlic Shrimp & Grits are phenomenal, as well as the fried chicken and honey and butter cornbread muffins and everything else we ordered. Greens, slaw, all great and fresh and made with love!
This is my first time at Rob Ben's. My wife and I highly recommend.
The Mac and cheese, greens, yams, and my fish sandwich where AMAZING 😍. I will definitely be back.
Our drinks were really good too. I had the Skittles and my wife had the kool-aid.
The staff is friendly and you can tell that the community loves the place.
My first time going to this establishment and I really enjoyed myself. The food was fabulous, our waitress was the best, drinks could be a bit stronger, with a little less ice The DJ kept it 🔥 for the night, (karaoke Thursday), and the place was packed. They even had a patio area that I didn't get the chance to see, (not sure if there was a separate party), but other than that, I would definitely visit again.
